Hasan got his PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 2025.
Hasan holds an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds. His current research activities are focused on augmenting equations of state (EoS) with machine learning and building data-driven models for gas sorption in polymeric membranes. He is also interested in numerical methods and mathematical optimization (mostly as an amateur!).
